Today began with another early morning at the RE's office. My three follicles are growing, but more slowly than the first time we used Follistim. So, we have two more days of shots (today and Friday), then we'll return on Saturday for another ultrasound. If the follicles are mature enough, then they'll give me the HCG shot and our IUI will be Sunday. Or not. The doctor said it could be Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday. There's so much watching and waiting with this process!

I am sore from working out yesterday. I hadn't been to the gym in over a year, and my muscles are paying for it now. We used some of the weight machines and spent a little time on the elliptical. Michael really wanted to play basketball, though. I think that might be how he's going to use his membership the most. Next time, I'll probably take a class and let him do that.

We decided to dine at our favorite Italian restuarant right here in our neighborhood. He had them customize a pasta dish for him, and I had moral dilemma (veal). So good! They are having a special Christmas Eve dinner there, and I think we'll make resevations. I guess I'd better get on that - Christmas is just two weeks from now.

"I had moral dilemma". Ha! Cracked me up!

We don't eat red meat around my house, but I'll bet it is delicious.

Hope your follicles jump into action soon. Sometimes estrogen all of a sudden spikes and you will see your follicles respond in kind. Here's to a Sunday IUI!!! :)

OH MY #6 said...

Oh, I so want to join you for Christmas Eve! :)

On the working out - You're a better woman than I.

We need some Miracle Gro for those follicles. Come on follicles!

Good luck with these follicles my friend. I am praying for them...
Come on little follies...you can do it! It really is such a random process isn't it? It's like you hand over your whole life and all your bits and pieces and hope for the best.
Would love to see you soon. We should plan a lunch again before school starts up in Jan.
Kisses
Tori

i can't believe how quickly christmas has rushed up on us this year!

after watching a documentary on cows, i stay away from inorganic MILK- could not believe what was done to these cows just to get milk- and won't eat red meat anymore, veal i won't touch and never have on principle.
