He has had such a great week this week. His appetite has been very good, and his energy level has increased a bit. He seems more like his old self to me. We still have a long way to go, but things are looking good right now.
Made it through my first week of school in one piece. My students are coming along and figuring out how things are done. I'm enjoying getting to know them.
We're hoping for a quiet weekend at home. Maybe we'll make it over to my parents' to visit with them and my grandmother, and perhaps we'll get over to the farmers market on Sunday. But other than that, I hope to have a lot of time to do a whole lot of nothing.

Ah Joannah, my sister in Christ! What a wonderful week for you and Michael. I too hope you have a quiet weekend, perhaps a weekend where the two of you can just envelope yourselves in each other.
Hugz, my friend!
It has been a wonderful week for you guys! Enjoy your weekend and some more foods that make Michael happy!
Sounds like a wonderful week...yay!!
Have a good weekend, girl!
Good news! A quiet weekend sounds lovely. Enjoy it, my friend.
Huge relief! I am so happy for you both. May you enjoy a wonderful weekend together, and may Michael's side effects continue to be minimal.
Good to hear things are coming together at school too. I had a nice email exchange with Rebecca's teacher about my health - she seems very nice and supportive. Already Rebecca is loving first grade.
Praise God! I am so happy to hear Michael is doing better. I will continue to pray for him.
And how wonderful that your school year is going well. It is truly a ministry to teach.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kind words of encouragement to me. If it were in God's plan for my life, I would love to write.
Your weekend sounds so perfect. Spending time with family and nestling in at home are my favorite things to do.
May you have a blessed and glorious weekend, dearest friend. God is so good to give us rest.
In His Love,
Andrea
So wonderful to hear he is feeling a bit better this week. Pray that it continues.
So so so glad that things are looking up!!!!
so glad that the calcium levels were fine! and hoping you were able to do a whole lot of nothing this weekend. I have been thinking about you so much, even though I have been out of touch. I hope you are taking care of You in the midst of all of this too-- even if that means a moment to breathe, a cup of tea, a moment to watch the sky.
sending love,
Kate
Prayers are with you and Michael.
I was starting to worry!! Glad to hear that all is well...or at least as well as it can be in your world right now :) Did you get to the Farmer's Market?
You haven't blogged in a while, I really hope all is OK! Praying for you both!
