- We all know life can change in an instant, and mine has. I was enjoying my life as a newlywed, savoring every day with my wonderful husband, and trying to overcome infertility when we learned in May of 2009 that he has kidney cancer. Now, our focus is on his health. Through our struggles with infertility my faith in Christ grew, and now I can face this new challenge knowing that we are in His hands.

I am so happy that they got this scheduled as quickly as possible. I pray that everything goes well and that Michael heals well under your tender loving care.

I am so glad! And I am so sorry!
It is the oddest thing to try to communicate about this-- Joannah, my heart aches for you and Michael, and I am so so sorry for his cancer and your grandmother's new diagnosis too-- I hate this for you.
And
given all of that, I am so glad things are moving forward toward surgery in just two weeks, and on toward healing. Thinking of you and sending healing energy with all my heart.
You are so strong, and so brave. I feel so honored that you let us in.
Take good care of you, breathe, eat, sleep, and know we are all out here pulling for you.
