Hello, Joannah. I hope you have had a lovely July 4th. Mine has been blessed with much quiet, a little catch-up work for our church, a sweet, short visit from my son and little granddaughters, and some hamburgers from 5 Guys.
I so appreciate the encouraging words you left on my blog. As I write, I am looking at your post "Faith vs. Fear," which describes my life right now.
Thanks be to God that I can stand on His word. We are still awaiting drs. visits and many tests for my dear husband.
Your words and thoughts mean so much to me. I value your kindness, concern, and prayer.
I will also remember you and your husband as you pass through your storms. May the Lord establish, strengthen and settle you. May He wrap His loving arms around you both and give you peace. His peace - that gift that passes our finite imaginations.
We all know life can change in an instant, and mine has. I was enjoying my life as a newlywed, savoring every day with my wonderful husband, and trying to overcome infertility when we learned in May of 2009 that he has kidney cancer. Now, our focus is on his health. Through our struggles with infertility my faith in Christ grew, and now I can face this new challenge knowing that we are in His hands.
