Anyway, we were met at the hospital by Michael's mom and my mom. My sister joined us later on. After he checked in, we met our anesthesiologist and the interventional radiologist. They were great about answering all our questions and putting us at ease about the procedure. The radiologist was totally open to talking to our family friend Dr. Joey, who is also an interventional radiologist at MD Anderson in Houston. So, we'll have the additional insight and advice from this dear and trusted friend.
The procedure went well. Michael's just feeling somewhat tender. I just fed him a healthy lunch and he's resting on the couch. We will have an appointment tomorrow with the pulmonologist to go over the preliminary results.
Thank you all so very much for rallying to our call for help and lifting us up in your prayers.

Just read this and am feeling numb about it...my heart goes out to you. Stay strong...remember that prayer I told you:
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
Sending up big prayers for you both.
Sara
