This will allow us to get our financing in place beforehand, and have the benefit of a cycle's worth of acupuncture prior to beginning the IVF protocol. Another huge advantage is that Michael's travel schedule should not coincide with any of the IVF routine. The travel schedule we have now has him off the road for that entire window of mid-February to early March. So, he'll be home to give me my shots, and to care for me when I'm on bedrest.

I was a little disappointed when I read the first sentence of this post, but after reading the reasons, you are making the right decision, for sure. You will need Michael with you during the IVF process. We might be on the same schedule this way...want to be my IVF buddy!? :)

I'm glad you're feeling good about your decision! It will be nice to have hubby home to look after you!
How often will you go to get acupuncture? I wish i'd looked into it earlier - i'm thinking maybe i should still give it a go. Please let us know how yours goes :)
I know I always feel better when my husband is here to give me the injections. He is always so careful to make it fast and painless. He also doesn't mind if I blame him for the stinging.
Waiting is always best if it is your decision. What is the process of acupuncture. How many weeks ahead of time do you have to plan?
I am happy that you are at peace with this decision. Good for you for knowing what's best for you at this point.
Good for you. Sounds like the next cycle will be much better timing for you guys.
Thinking of you...
great choice! when you feel peace about a choice then go with that! God gives you that inner peace as well as the Holy Ghost.
my girlfriend had a child at 43 after years of infertility. I hear so many positive stories of women conceiving after 40, especially when God is on your side, like He IS!
God bless. i have enjoyed your journey and pray for you A LOT, i really do.
