Michael took this photograph from the USS Arizona memorial when we were in Hawaii last summer. It was a very moving experience to visit Pearl Harbor and to reflect on what occurred there on December 7, 1941. The generation of Americans who fought and won WWII was truly the greatest generation this nation has ever known.

Pearl Harbor Day

I have a picture very similar to this one. The memorial is a very intense place and made huge memories in our kids heads when we went.
