47 Degrees?

It was SO COLD today! Now, I know that it gets much colder in other parts of the country, however Southern California just doesn't experience daytime highs in the forties. But we did today. Wow! My mom told me it snowed in Malibu. I won't be surprised if it snows here tonight!

Brr...

I wish I had a cup of hot apple cider right now. That would really hit the spot!

Sooooo jealous! I would love to experience some real hot cocoa weather. It was in the high 50s here today, and everyone was running around in Arctic survival gear...bunch of spoiled desert dwellers!

Our high was 43! BURRRR is right! We had tomato soup and grilled cheese tonight, perfect for fighting the winter cold.

We've been hearing a lot about freaky weather patterns in the States. Here in Toronto, we would kill for daytime highs in the 40s at this time of the year. Yesterday, it was 14F in Toronto.
Enjoy a cuddly sweater, a warm drink and snuggling up to Michael. :)

You saw the pic of the snowman my Bro made in Palmdale, yesterday, right? Sheesh!

We are just getting rain over here...at least, yesterday the sun came out and I had to shed my hoodie. :)

"Second wave" supposed to hit today....more rain.

Why in my East Coast neck of the woods...that's a true heat wave!!!

I would imagine you might enjoy that cold snap this time of year...you really do need that cup of hot cider!!!

Hope all is well...and thinking of you with fingers crossed and hopes high!!!

Yep. We who live in S. Cal are not used to 43 degree temps (my SIL in MN is laughing right now). The 5 was closed, the 15 was closed, and the 14 was closed. Essentially, if you wanted to make a trek from Northern to Southern CA, you had to take the 101.

I made Golden Squash Soup with crescent rolls last night for dinner. Everyone ate until they were full! It hit the spot perfectly. Then we had the kids play last night at church and they served hot chocolate. Perfect nightcap! Mmmm.

Christi is staying nice and warm in China, though! :)

I would run over a squirrel to feel 47 degrees right now. I hate Illinois. Hubby just left for supplies as we are expecting 12 INCHES of snow and a quarter inch of ice tonight. Oh goody.
On another note, I'm counting down the days with you. Praying praying praying. Two weeks...ugh. Praying...

It was in the high 60's here yesterday and in the low 30's now...I just wish Arkansas weather would make up it's mind. :)

I hope you guys have a great time in Vegas!

Still praying for that positive pregnancy test for your Christmas present. :)
