I will say that I'm $600 poorer after having new tires put on my vehicle this afternoon. (Actually, I'm probably poorer than that since I'm sure my mutual funds are taking it in the shorts along with everyone else's right now. Sheesh!) And, it doesn't stop there. My wheel bearing(s) needs replacing and that's a big, expensive job. Michael says it's okay to keep driving it like it is for a while longer, but I won't be able to put it off forever. I hope to get it back in the shop late this month. I guess I really shouldn't complain. My vehicle is almost five years old, and aside from having it serviced regularly, I haven't had to put any money into it in all that time. Even so...
I wish car repairs were more like our TeeVoh box. It wasn't working. We called Direct TeeVee, and they sent us a new box overnight for free. Now if we could just figure out how to program the remote...

I hear you on the car repair woes. I went 4 months without a car before we could afford to fix everything that needed to be done. No fun!
Oh I hate spending money on car repairs!! Now cute shoes or kid's clothes on the other hand, well I don't mind spending money on those at all. *grin*

Loved, I mean, LOVED, your wedding pictures. What a beautiful setting and couple.

It would be nice if car repair were like TeeVoh.. really nice...
Ugg on the car repairs. Love that the TV company did that for you.
It always seems like tires wear out way too quick....I have to replace mine every 2 years it seems because you have to have a good amount of tread when driving in the snow.
Thanks for the rescue song. So encouraging to hear.
I hate car trouble too. Just wish you did not have to do so much just to keep them running.
I think there's something in the air about having to incur big expenses. Seems everyone is having to do something big at a time when we all really don't want (or can't afford) to.
Eeek!
