Best Monday Ever!

Well, we took my vehicle back over to the dealership this afternoon to have the bearing replaced. We have to drive up to Ventura this coming Sunday, and we didn't want to take my car unless we'd had it repaired. Michael's vintage Saab doesn't have air conditioning, and I won't ride in it when it's hot. So, we left the car at the dealership knowing that they'd have to order the part and we wouldn't be able to pick it up until Wednesday afternoon.

In the meantime, we walked two miles over to our favorite Italian restaurant for dinner. While we were enjoying our delicious meal, the woman from the dealership called us to say that our repair would be covered under warranty! Oh, wow!!! Thank you, Lord! That just saved me several hundred dollars! Whew!!!

Then we walked home two miles. I love that we sandwiched our dinner in between four miles of exercise. We're talking about walking the five miles to the dealership to pick up the car on Wednesday. I guess I'm up for it if we can get dinner afterwards. ;-)

Anyway, with some upcoming plumbing and roof repairs, not to mention the expense of this IUI, it was great to be spared that expense today!
