It's the beginning of my last week of being home alone. Yippee! I'm almost counting down the hours now. Michael is in Helsinki, Finland. He says it's cold there, and that just doesn't surprise me at all. The time difference is now 10 hours, which makes it really hard to reach each other at convenient times. He was kind enough to wait up for me to get home from school so that we could Sky-pe before he went to bed. That's true love, my friends! I couldn't wait up until 2:30 am for him to Sky-pe me, I'm sure. I turn into a pumpkin hours before then.

On Saturday, I started my scarf over again during my knitting class. The mistakes were too glaring for me and I knew it would always bother me. Besides, I've got the hang of it now. I'm going to try and finish it this week because Saturday is my last class, and I'd like to be ready to start a new project then. I'm not sure what I'd like to make next, though. Anyway, I will have to wait three weeks due to other commitments, but I plan to return to my Saturday morning hang after that. I really enjoy all the ladies who come to knit and chat. Knitting is good.

My pass to the yoga studio has expired, and I have decided that I really don't want to fork over sixteen bucks a class to keep going there. But, I do enjoy yoga so much. So, I ordered a couple DVDs last night, and I'm going to try doing yoga at home when they arrive. My other option is to attend the yoga and Pilates classes offered at the gym, but most of them begin too late in the evening for me on a work night. However, I will have more flexibility with my schedule when school gets out for the summer and they do offer morning classes.

Speaking of summer...

There are nine weeks of school remaining.

Forty-four work days.

I can hardly wait to hear that last bell on June 13th!

The harkening of summer vacation = good.

Glad you are down to your last week on your own. What would you do without Skype? That has been such a great thing for you two.

Knit on!

Ha ha...29 work days and counting here!

I need to pick your brain about Skype. My dad ave us some webcams so we could talk to them in CA via the computer, but we're stumped. It can't be that difficult!

I bet you're excited for your sweetie to return soon. Hang in there!

We've got 8 more weeks of school left here, and testing starts next week. YUCK! My poor guy is already stressed about it.

It's hard to believe school is going to be over so soon.

I know it's hard for you to be away from your sweetie, but I love how he gets to see so much of the world.

I'm so happy that you only have one more week of alone time...there's nothing like having your hubby right there with you to cuddle with! Counting down the days...

I'd love to know what Michael thinks of Helsinki? I'm hoping for a stop over there this summer!
