Thank God It's (Almost) Friday!

Time Change.

Conference Week.

Need I say more?

I'm almost at the finish line. The weekend awaits!

I'm looking forward to sleeping in a little bit in my new bed over the weekend. I can't say enough nice things about that bed. I feel like a princess when I'm in it. I said that to my husband and he told me I am a princess. I agreed with him. Then he went on to say I'm an Italian Princess. I'm just a quarter Italian, but he likes to think of me as Italian. He's cute.

The first morning after we'd slept on the bed, he said, "I don't know about that bed!" He'd had a rough night. Whenever he snores, he doesn't sleep well. He usually snores when he's overly tired, or when he's had dairy products in the evening. Both were true that night. I didn't sleep well either because of all his snoring. Anyway, I thought he was going to make me send the bed back, and I was willing to put up a fight, I tell you! I reminded him that the store's policy was that we sleep on it for at least 30 nights before we request a return. Anyway, since then we've both slept well. So, I don't think the bed is going anywhere.

Now I'm on a quest to find the perfect pillow. I'll let you know how that goes.

Ok, this might be TMI, but I almost ended up divorced over snoring! I'll tell you, the thing that saved us is my husband's CPAP machine. It's like sleeping next to Darth Vader, but anything is better than that snoring!!!

Keep the bed. You deserve to feel like royalty!

So glad you love the new sleep and 3 cheers for this week being done. I'm on Spring Break this next week. Elizabeth and the girls are off next week so I suspect you are off next week too. They are coming up even though I am working. As for pillows I love my little round one that fits in the crook of my neck. Would not travel without it and it’s on the china packing list.

As a friend, I highly recommend Michael go get a sleep study. Rich did and it turns out all that snoring was part of apnea ...he was literally waking himself up over 70 times a minute during the night. Think about that!

Sleep apnea (snoring) causes a decrease of oxygen supply to the heart which contributes to ...among other things ...heart disease.

Remember Rich had a quad bypass two years ago?

All I'm saying is that the most important thing is your health and a good night's sleep for both of you is so essential for that.

Rich now wears a C-Pap at night and it has made a world of difference for us both. No more snoring. And great night's sleep for both of us.

Talk to your doctor about it and get a referral to a specialist for the sleep study. Insurance should cover it. Ours did.

Nighty night.

Hi Joannah!

Glad you love your bed! When I got mine I was so excited, just like you! Please let us know when you find the right pillow, because I'm needing one myself. Has your husband tried those Breathe Right nose strips when he sleeps? Maybe they would help?

Know the feeling about not sleeping well the first few nights. It took us 2 months before we were sleeping like babies! Now I can't imagine life without my new bed!

Glad the bed is working out. I wear ear plugs every night (to squelch the snoring) and sleep very well!
