Now, I'm really excited!
Our final guest count came in at 65. That had been the most stressful aspect of the whole planning process. It's good to have it figured out and the numbers called into our venue and catering company. My mom has offered to take care of the favors for us. Thanks, Mom! So, that's one less thing for me to do. I do need to make a check list of the last few tasks we need to get done in the next week-and-a-half, but I think everything is right on track.
We had a wonderful dinner up at Michael's parents' beautiful home on Friday night with my parents, his Aunt Sally, and his Uncle Jerry and Aunt Marian. They were just so excited for us and they lavished us with gifts - it felt like Christmas. Michael's mother made the best dinner - now I know from where he gets his talent for cooking. It was such a fun evening.
I had more fun yesterday, but I'll wait to post about that until I get the pictures from my sister.
