So Tired

If you know a teacher, be very, very kind to them this time of year. We work so hard - physically hard - preparing everything for our students' arrival on the first day of school. It's overwhelming, really. I never worked so hard until I became a teacher. Never.

Amen!! I am soooo exhausted, and I keep thinking of more and more things I have to teach my substitute before school starts on Tuesday! Sigh.
I love my Smart Board!! You will too. We will have to share ideas!
And finally, I think it's great that your sweetie will surprise you with a ring. That's what mine did, and it makes the ring so much more special!

Let's remember to be kind to ourselves, too. You are so good for all that you do for your students. Do the children come to school next week?

My father is a public high school teacher and my youngest sister is a pre-K teacher. I have much respect for what you all do.

Oh, I just read about you good news on your old site. I am very excited for you and the upcoming wedding as well as sad about the close of your adoption journey.
