Home, Sweet Home

I went back to the hospital very early to make sure that I was there when Dr. P made his rounds. Once again, he was very happy with how Michael is doing and he agreed today was the day to go home. We will see him again on Monday morning for a follow up appointment. We may know more then about the pathology results, and what the next step will be treatment-wise.

After Dr. P left, we had to wait a couple of hours for the discharge process to take place. They didn't seem to be in much of a hurry to get us out of there. We had a little breakfast and took a couple of walks while we waited.

We got home before noon. To our delight there was a box of flowers on the porch from our friends D & A. It's a gorgeous bouquet of all green foliage, and it looks great in our living room. I love fresh flowers! Thanks, D & A!!!

Shortly after we got home, Michael's mom and his aunt arrived with a step stool for Michael. It will make it easier for him to get in and out of bed. Then they did some grocery shopping for us, and they made us a wonderful pot of soup.

We have spent the afternoon eating, napping, and walking to the corner and back. He even took a shower late this afternoon. Michael is doing so well that he hasn't taken any pain meds today - not even a Tylenol. Isn't that remarkable? Right now he's watching the Angel game.

It feels great to be home. I hope we can both get a good night's rest.

Joannah, I will continue to remember your husband in prayer.
I know you both must be so very happy to be home.

May the Lord bless you and keep you in His tender loving care and give you healing and peace.

Thank you for remembering me and my husband. My husband and I will remember you, asking the Lord to walk with you and give you encouragement, comfort, and peace.

We can never escape His great love for us. And His mercy and love are greater than our fears.

Many blessings to you this evening.

In Christ's Love,

Andrea
