Scheduled

The authorization from the insurance company is still pending,  but the doctor's office has scheduled my surgery for Friday anyway. They are confident that it will be approved, and they understood our sense of urgency. I am greatly relieved. Now I can prepare for my substitute teacher and all that.

We went in this morning for an ultrasound and everything looks good. I was thrilled that it was covered by insurance - they usually aren't. I'll go back in to the office on Thursday afternoon for a pre-op appointment, and then Friday morning we'll head over to the surgery center.

I'm so glad that we got the green light today!

Yippee!!!! Glad that it's scheduled and I am sure that it will all work out. Are you taking off Monday and Tuesday as well? Please do!

Iagree with two kayaks...you need at least Monday. I know they like to make it seem like not a big deal, but I needed at least 4 days of rest...good luck!!

Yay! And I have no idea what my sister is talking about. I needed at least a week before I could even walk without being hunched over in pain. I'm not trying to scare you, and everyone heals differently, but give yourself some extra time. You may need it. And I will for sure be thinking of you on Friday. Is it early in the morning?

Good luck. Let me know if you need anything this weekend. I'm here if you need me.

I agree that you should take Mon and Tuesday off. The lap is fairly easy, but it is still surgery.

My first lap was much easier than my second. Of course I was 12 years younger lol.

Let's get this show on the road baby!

Surgeries, scheduling and all that billing shit is quite soul destroying.

Glad too that you've had a good start to the school year.

I am rooting for you my lovely Joannah.....

Take it easy after the laparoscopy. Feet up and some sofa time.

Kisses
