Monday, Monday...

The Mamas and the Papas song is running through my head...

Mondays are a lot easier to bear now that I'm excited about my job again. Today I saw one of the looney moms from last year's class. She said, "Hello, Mrs. L. Are you going by your new name now?"

I responded, "Yes, I am."

She said, "What is it?"

I said, "Mrs. L."

She said, "Oh..."

Mind you, I'd been Mrs. L. to my students and their parents since last November and she had called me that many, many times as I had much interaction with her. Sigh... I just sort of shook my head and walked away.

So, do you do Facebook? My friend Joey invited me to be his friend on Facebook last week, and so I set up an account over there. I hardly have any friends though. If you have a Facebook account look me up!

Tomorrow is my post-op appointment with my doctor. Looking forward to that because I want to ask him some questions about my surgery. I decided to be brave yesterday and I removed the tapes from my incision sites. They look good. Everything is healing nicely from what I can tell. It would be wonderful to be pregnant by the end of the year - would make it all worth it.

Gotta go! Gotta call Michael in Singapore before he takes off for Thailand in a little bit.

Cheryl,

Complete the phrase to know my last name:

L __________ Retriever

Hey, this is sort of like Wheel of Fortune - except for there's no wheel or fortune involved...

:-)

I just don't get the Facebook thing... I have an account will look you up Mrs L....

Wouldn't it be fun if we both got to realize our momma dreams by the first of this coming year???

Looney parents suck.

Facebook scares me.

Good luck tomorrow!

Hey, Mrs. L...glad things are looking good this year (aside from looney parents - a constant).

I haven't gone near Facebook. I don't need another time-sucking computer vortex portal in my home ;0) I've resisted the curiosity to check it out.

I don't really get the facebook thing either. I have an acct, but I set it up just so that old friends could find me. Maybe if I didn't have a blog I would be more into it.

Really hope the appointment goes well. I'll be praying for you.

Hopefully you have no more looney parents!

Facebook, oh I've withstood the pressure up until now. I may give in eventually! Do you like it?

I have a Facebook account but I never use it.

I'm glad you are healing well and I'm praying that you will get pregnant very soon! To be preggers by the end of the year would be awesome! :)

Off to look you up! I've been on FB for a while now. My high school is doing it's reunion through there so I had to register. It's a great way to keep in "quick" touch with family and friends. I get to talk to my sisters everyday, which is nice.
