2008 Travel Plans

My husband let me know today that I'll be joining him in New York City for a week over my Spring Break. I'm SO excited! I haven't been to NYC since I was 17. I can't wait to experience it again - with my husband! New York is one of Michael's favorite cities, too. Anyway, Michael will be working the first few days we're there. So, I'll have some time on my own. I think a couple of you live not too far outside the city (Stephanie?). So, let me know if you want to meet up for some fun!

And...

He also booked us tickets to Oahu at the end of July! I've been to Maui and Kauai, but never Oahu. I've started looking for a cottage or condo to rent in Kailua - close to the beach. And I want to see Pearl Harbor and Waikiki. There's a lot to do on Oahu, or so I've heard. I know we'll have lots of fun.

I love having travel plans to look forward to. I just love it!

Wow, you guys don't fool around when booking vacations. Two top notch places. Oahu is so different from the other Islands, you will love it. You are right, there is a lot to do.

Gosh, sounds like you will have a great year.

I'm still reeling over your whirlwind travels of last year. I really admire your focus on experiencing very cool places. That's awesome.

Okay I posted a comment and it didn't post...here we go again!

YOU are a LUCKY girl!! When you're in Oahu...you MUST eat breakfast here, Boots and Kimo's Homestyle Kitchen, 131 Hekili St, Kailua. It is THE BEST!!

First, my sister lives in Oahu and I've been there three times in the last couple years. Honolulu is a fun city and has tons of shopping and restaurants - I am sure you will have a great time.
Also, I only live an hour outside of NYC and would LOVE to meet up! E-mail me @ forksblog@optonline.net and we can arrange something!
